The P45 features the Yamaha GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) piano action that provides a heavier touch on the lower keys, while the higher ones are more responsive to lighter playing, very similar to a traditional acoustic piano. The keyboard’s sensitivity can even be adjusted to match your playing style. Great for the aspiring pianist, practicing on the GHS action builds the proper finger technique for when the time comes to perform on an acoustic piano. The piano also features a keyboard with a natural feel, with black keys that feature a matte finish for authentic piano playing close to that of an acoustic piano.

The P-45 has improved on the traditional AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) synthesis , which uses digital technology to record an instrument’s sound. AWM Stereo Sampling creates a deeper, richer and more spacious sound by using pairs of waveforms captured with two microphones.

Slim and stylish form With a depth of less than 30 cm, the instrument requires little space, and at only 11.5 kg—with its speaker attached—it can be easily moved anywhere in your home or even used for performance outside.
